MBA Entrance Exams

A Look at MBA Entrance Exams

MBA Coaching Classes – MBA seems to be the most sought after degree today. But little do we know that this vast field of Management does not consist of only an MBA degree. It includes equivalent full-time course options like MMS, PGDBA, PGPMS, PGDBM, etc. MBA Entrance Exams must be cleared to seek admission in the top business schools in the country.

An entrance exam is the first step to be eligible for admission into B-Schools for MBA, PGDM, PGDBA, and so on. With a huge number of management institutions in India there are several entrance examinations conducted by different bodies. We can differentiate these tests as National level, State level, and Deemed Universities / Autonomous level.

The entrance exams primarily consist of Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Problem Solving and Data Interpretation.

Management exams necessarily check a candidate on Time Management, Decision making abilities, handling pressure. Since much has been written about handling these critical factors, we will focus on the Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension part of these critical exams.

Your choice of the entrance exams from the list below would entirely depend on the institute you plan to apply to. Specific institutes consider scores of specific entrance exams. These exams are generally held in the months of May and June except for CAT conducted by the IIMs which is held in the month of November.
