What is Merchant Navy?
‘Merchant Navy’ suggests commercial transporting of cargo and occasionally passengers by sea to destinations around the world. Marine engineering deals with construction and maintenance of ships and other sailing vessels. They also develop newer designs for the engines of sailing vessels and check the efficiency of existing equipments like gas or steam turbines, diesel or nuclear propulsion plants etc. It is a non-combatant commercial fleet.
