Sports finance and business, communication with the press and media and sports event staging. Earlier only post graduate programs were available in sports management. Many universities now have started giving recognition to conduct Diploma programs that can be taken after class 12th.
There are institutes offering BBA, BA, or Bachelor’s in sports management after class 12th from any stream. Most of the institutes are offering Masters, or MBA or Post graduate Diploma programs in Sports management. A minimum Eligibility criterion is graduation with 50-55% marks in graduation. Some institutes may take entrance exam or institutes for short listing. Duration of the course will differ depending on the course.
Diploma program is for 11 Months to 1 year, Bachelor’s course is for 3 years and Management for 2 years.
