Importance of CET Coaching Classes

Eligibility

In order to appear for this test, a candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or an equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).

Students who have appeared for the final year of any Bachelor’s degree are also eligible to appear for the test.

Test format

The CET is an online test lasting for 2.5 hours. It is a multiple choice test with 200 questions testing candidates on

1) Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension,

2) Quantitative Aptitude and

3) Logical Reasoning. Every correct answer receives one mark, but there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Test fees and registration

The CET is held around March every year. The registration for the test can only be done online. The registration fee is Rs. 1000 for general candidates and Rs. 800 forCandidates of Backward Class Categories and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only.

Apart from candidates from Maharashtra state, the test can also be taken by candidates Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates and NRI/Foreign Nationals/ PIO/Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries Candidates. The registration fee for all such candidates is Rs. 1000.

Payment of the registration fees can be done online through credit or debit card. The fees can also be paid at any Axis Bank Branches in cash through e–Challan.
