BBA Entrance Exams Coaching Classes The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree is designed to give a broad knowledge of a company’s functional areas, also allowing for specialization in a particular area. There are many BBA entrance exams that candidates are required to crack that is set by the respective university. BBA programs expose students to a variety of “core subjects” like accounting, human resource management, marketing, financial management, etc. The degree also helps in developing managerial skills, communication skills and business decision-making capability. Many programs therefore include training and practical experience, in the form of case projects, presentations, internships, industrial visits, and interaction with experts from the industry.

Undergraduate degrees in business are also called as Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) and Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS).

About BBA Entrance Exams

The BBA entrance exams test a candidate’s basic managerial skills and knowledge about the business world. Students are tested on a variety of topics/ subjects like Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Reading Comprehension, General Awareness, Reasoning & Analytical Ability and English Proficiency.

Quantitative ability questions generally cover topics like number systems, square roots, fractions& decimals, ratio& proportion, calculating interest, calculating percentage, etc

The Reasoning and Analytical ability section will have questions on direction& distance, coding/ decoding, logical word sequence, mathematical operations, data sufficiency, statement assumptions, Logical diagrams, Statement Arguments& Conclusion, etc.

Topics covered under Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension will include English grammar, vocabulary, sentence improvement, synonyms/antonyms, spelling mistakes, etc. English proficiency section will test you on your ability to communicate in English, which will be the medium of instruction for the courses.

The exams are mostly paper based and last between 120 and 240 minutes. They are typically scored between 100 and 160 marks and have multiple choice questions.

BBA Entrance Exams Eligibility & Fees

Students who have appeared and passed class 12th exams from any board are eligible to apply. Although minimum marks vary from college to college, a student will need atleast 50 – 60% to be   considered suitable. The test fees vary from institute to institute, they usually range from Rs 1200 to 2000.
